The new platform connects speech recognition technology with digital slide management to reduce manual data entry and workflow disruptions.

Voicebrook Inc and Gestalt Diagnostics have integrated their platforms to create a speech-enabled digital pathology solution designed to help laboratories improve workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy.

The integration connects Voicebrook’s VoiceOver PRO reporting platform with Gestalt’s PathFlow digital pathology solution, allowing pathologists to control both image navigation and report creation through voice commands. Users can dictate report sections, complete CAP protocols, and move between slide review and data capture without manual interruption of their diagnostic workflow.

“Pathologists face increasing demands to work faster without compromising accuracy,” says Melanie Shedd, vice president of product at Voicebrook, in a release. “This integration brings together the best of both worlds—Voicebrook’s proven reporting capabilities and Gestalt’s innovative digital pathology platform—so laboratories can deliver high-quality, CAP-compliant reports more efficiently.”

Key Platform Features

The combined solution offers direct integration between digital slide management and reporting systems, with voice-enabled navigation designed to reduce manual entry requirements. The platform supports both narrative reporting and CAP protocols, with customization options for different laboratory needs.

The integration also includes enhanced collaboration features intended to help pathologists share insights and finalize cases more quickly.

“Gestalt’s mission is to empower pathologists through digital innovation,” says Lisa-Jean Clifford, president of Gestalt, in a release. “Our integration with Voicebrook aligns perfectly with that vision—giving labs a solution that is both powerful and easy to use.”

The integrated platform is currently available for laboratories looking to enhance their digital pathology and reporting capabilities. The companies position the solution as addressing workflow inefficiencies that can impact turnaround times and diagnostic accuracy in pathology laboratories.
