The StabiliX range offers analytical and prep-scale versions designed for inline degasser systems in clinical laboratories.
Biotech Fluidics has released a new dual-stage molded vacuum pump designed to enhance fluidic degassing operations in laboratory settings. The StabiliX range of vacuum pumps targets applications where dissolved gases and bubbles present operational challenges.
The vacuum pumps are available in analytical and prep scale versions, both engineered for quiet operation and durability. The analytical scale version handles standard degassing chambers and fluids, while prep scale versions manage high vapor loads from high-flow-rate chambers or low-vapor-pressure fluids, which increase solvent pervaporation through membranes.
The pumps feature a fully inert wetted path, enabling them to remove gas bubbles from various fluids. They are designed to retrofit with Biotech Fluidics’ complete range of DEGASi inline degassers that incorporate vacuum pumps.
Design and Configuration Options
The StabiliX vacuum pumps are available in bottom and side-mounted configurations to accommodate different laboratory setups and space requirements. The dual-stage design aims to provide consistent operation and extended service life for degassing applications.
The pumps are engineered to handle the specific demands of different-scale operations, with prep-scale versions designed to manage the increased solvent pervaporation that occurs with high flow rates or low-vapor-pressure fluids.
