The high-throughput analyzer processes up to 1,000 samples per hour and supports continuous sample loading for busy laboratories.

Sysmex America has introduced the CN-9000 Automated Hemostasis Solution, expanding its CN-Series product line with a system designed for high-volume laboratory operations.

The CN-9000 delivers throughput of up to 1,000 samples per hour and features continuous sample loading with automated rerun and reflex testing capabilities. The system can operate as a standalone solution or integrate with compatible total laboratory automation lines.

Key features include closed-tube sampling, Preanalytical Sample Integrity checks, and intelligent tube routing designed to minimize manual handling and reduce error risk. The modular system supports up to three CN-3000 or CN-6000 Blood Coagulation Analyzers and offers an optional Sysmex TS-10 Integrated Tube Sorter and Archiver.

The CN-9000 can be configured with up to two turn unit modules that allow 90-degree turns in either direction, accommodating laboratories with space limitations in coagulation departments.

“Sysmex America’s hemostasis solutions help labs keep up with growing testing demands,” says Dan Zortman, CEO of Sysmex America, in a release. “With the CN-Series, CN-9000, we’re giving labs a reliable, high-throughput, walkaway solution that makes daily operations easier and more efficient.”

The system incorporates PSI checks to verify sample integrity before analysis and uses intelligent routing to direct samples through the workflow automatically. These features are designed to reduce hands-on time and maintain testing efficiency in busy laboratory environments.

The modular design allows laboratories to scale the system based on testing volume requirements and available space configurations. The turn unit capability enables installation in various laboratory layouts without requiring extensive facility modifications.

Sysmex America offers the CN-9000 as part of its portfolio of hemostasis testing solutions for clinical laboratories handling high sample volumes.
