Streck_Philisa PCR system 462The Philisa real-time PCR system from Streck, Omaha, is a rapid real-time semiquantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) instrument designed for laboratory flexibility and rapid results. The system includes four random-access modules with eight wells in each module, six-color optical detection, and rapid heating and cooling ramp rates of 15° C per second and 12° C per second, respectively. Each module can be programmed independently for on-demand and flexible processing, allowing for four different PCR protocols to be executed at the same time. Precise thermal control, short hold times, and thin-walled plastic tubes enable labs to achieve reliable qPCR results in 20 minutes. For more information, visit Streck.
