DCN Dx, an international provider of point-of-care diagnostics development, products, and educational programming, has announced completing its acquisition of PortaScience, Inc., a dry chemistry-focused point-of-care diagnostics development company.

“It was essential for us to find a partner with the same commitment to quality that our clients have come to expect,” said Mike Gavin president of PortaScience. “We believe DCN Dx brings a high level of innovation and care to facilitate the next level of our clients’ and team’s success.”

The acquisition expands DCN Dx’s point-of-care diagnostics development services capabilities and product portfolio.

PortaScience operations will remain in the New Jersey facility.
