Labs by Hims & Hers offers up to 120 biomarker tests across 10 health areas with personalized action plans and provider consultations.
Telemedicine company Hims & Hers has launched Labs by Hims & Hers, a direct-to-consumer laboratory testing platform that provides access to up to 120 biomarker tests across 10 health categories, including heart health, metabolism, hormones, inflammation, and stress.
The platform integrates laboratory testing with personalized health insights and treatment recommendations through the company’s mobile application. Users select testing plans through the app, schedule blood draws at nearby health clinics, and receive results with doctor-developed action plans that include lifestyle guidance and potential treatment options.
“70% of medical decisions depend on a lab test, but access to these tests can be limited and the results can be hard to understand,” according to the company’s announcement. The platform aims to address gaps in traditional lab testing by providing actionable insights beyond raw results.
Testing Process and Results Delivery
The testing workflow begins with plan selection in the Hims & Hers mobile application. Eligible users schedule blood draws at partner health clinics and receive push notifications when results become available. The platform delivers biomarker results alongside analysis for each health category and prioritized action items.
Results include a biological age calculation, personalized messages explaining health status, and next steps for each tested category. Users can access follow-up consultations with healthcare providers through the app to evaluate treatment plans based on their results.
The platform tracks progress over time through follow-up testing, depending on the selected plan and treatment protocols. Provider support remains available throughout the testing and treatment process.
Expansion Plans
Hims & Hers plans to expand the Labs platform with additional features including at-home testing devices, biomarker tests for bone and brain health, and advanced diagnostics for chronic and life-threatening conditions. The company states these services will be offered at reduced costs compared to traditional healthcare pricing.
The platform represents part of Hims & Hers’ strategy to develop more proactive healthcare innovations beyond its current telemedicine offerings.
