Findings presented at the 2026 Midwest Reproductive Annual Symposium demonstrate consistent performance of the HerResolve test across diverse clinical settings.
HerAnova Lifesciences presented new real-world clinical data evaluating HerResolve, a multi-omic blood-based test designed to aid in the diagnosis of endometriosis in symptomatic women, at the 2026 Midwest Reproductive Annual Symposium in Chicago.
The presentation analyzed 197 commercial cases from women referred for testing due to symptoms associated with endometriosis, such as unexplained infertility, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding. The study found that 104 cases (53%) were classified as detected by the test, while 93 cases (47%) were classified as not detected.
“These findings support the consistency of the multi-omic model and the feasibility of HerResolve as a non-invasive adjunct in the diagnostic pathway,” says Farideh Bischoff, PhD, chief medical officer of HerAnova Lifesciences, in a release. “We look forward to expanding the evidence base for HerResolve as we continue our larger performance study for regulatory submission as a noninvasive aid in diagnosing endometriosis among symptomatic women.”
Patients in the study had a mean and median age of 35 years. The testing was ordered by multiple providers across diverse clinical practices, with five centers accounting for the majority of cases. According to the company, algorithm output probabilities showed clear stratification between the detected and not detected groups, with high-probability outputs above 0.9 frequently associated with detected classifications.

HerResolve integrates microRNA, protein, and a hormone biomarker analyzed through a machine learning framework. It is designed for symptomatic women of reproductive age and is currently available at select in vitro fertilization and reproductive medicine centers in the US.
The test is intended to serve as a noninvasive triage tool to complement existing clinical pathways. Currently, the gold standard for endometriosis diagnosis requires invasive laparoscopic surgery, which often leads to diagnostic delays of seven to 10 years.
The real-world findings build on clinical validation data previously published in the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, which reported an accuracy of 97.4%, 80% sensitivity, and 97.5% specificity. HerAnova Lifesciences is currently conducting a larger performance study for future regulatory submission.
