The lab-informed report uses biomarkers from routine blood tests to estimate biological age and identify how specific body systems influence aging.
Humanity Health and Quest Diagnostics have introduced Humanity Biological Age to the US market through Quest’s consumer-initiated testing platform, questhealth.com.
The service allows individuals to add biological age analysis to select health profile tests, including the “Elite Health Profile,” “Men’s and Women’s Comprehensive Health Profiles,” and “Fitness Profile — Elite.” The add-on costs $29 and requires no additional blood draw beyond the initial sample collection at one of Quest’s approximately 2,000 patient service centers. Customers can upload their lab results from Quest directly to the Humanity platform to receive their report.
Measuring Biological Function
The Humanity Biological Age report provides a measure of how well a person’s body is functioning compared to their chronological age. The model identifies which body systems are influencing the result, including cardiovascular, metabolic, liver, kidney, blood, immune, inflammatory, hormonal, bone, and mineral health. For users who test multiple times, the report tracks how the difference between biological and chronological age trends over time.
“Humanity is excited to bring Humanity Biological Age to people in the United States for the first time through questhealth.com,” says Pete Ward, CEO of Humanity, in a release. “Until now, a rigorously validated measure on biological age has been available to very few people.”
Scientific Validation
Developed in collaboration with Imperial College London, the Humanity Biological Age model is based on research published in the peer-reviewed journal Communications Biology. The model was trained on data from more than 306,000 UK Biobank participants followed for an average of 11.6 years and was validated on a separate cohort.
In a survey conducted by Humanity, 83% of individuals reported that their results would prompt them to improve their lifestyle, and 80% intended to retest within six to 12 months to monitor changes.

The Humanity Biological Age report is classified as a general wellness offering. With this launch, the analysis is now available in five countries.
