A new software driver for the QML solution from Telcor now enables connectivity with the Pathfast cardiac biomarker analyzer from Mitsubishi Chemical Medience Corp. The analyzer offers a 17-minute turnaround time for point-of-care cardiac testing. QML now makes it possible to automatically transmit results from the analyzer to a laboratory information system (LIS) or electronic medical record, increasing efficiency and preventing errors due to the manual charting of results. QML is an open system that currently interfaces with 90 point-of-care devices. New devices may be added or exchanged without causing downtime.
