Roche, Basel, Switzerland, has launched the Navify tumor board solution, a clinical workflow and decision support software system designed to optimize decisionmaking for cancer patient case reviews in tumor boards or multidisciplinary team meetings. The solution fundamentally changes the way such meetings are organized and conducted. It is initially available in Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Tumor board coordination can be labor intensive and time consuming for healthcare providers, who must often manually collect and organize patients’ medical histories, biomarkers, tumor information, radiology images, microscope slide images, pathology reports, and electronic medical record notes.

The Navify tumor board solution is intended to streamline and standardize workflows by aggregating relevant patient data from such disparate sources into a workflow software solution that facilitates efficient team collaboration, reduces errors, and gives the care team more time to evaluate potential treatment options.

To facilitate interaction, the Navify tumor board solution also allows remote meeting participation by experts who are away from the meeting location.
