The MultiMACS X device from Miltenyi Biotec allows fully automated performance of all magnetic cell separation steps, as well as standardized handling of large volumes, high cell numbers, or up to 24 samples in parallel. The automated process enables the user to continue working with the isolated cell type of interest after just 40 minutes. Starting material for cell separation can be various blood products, mononuclear cells from peripheral blood, as well as dissociated tissues.
