The MacroPATH digital-imaging system by Milestone Medical is a user-oriented capture/storage system of digital macro images designed to support macroscopic descriptions and to dramatically reduce specimen turnaround time. The splatter-proof terminal, camera, and keyboard can be fitted to any existing grossing station. A foot switch activates the image capture. The MacroPATH System serves as a comprehensive method of storing the macroscopic images of all specimens examined in the lab, providing a diagnostic database for routine grossing, teaching, and research.
