Antek HealthWare LLC has announced expanded functionality between its LabDAQ LIS and GE Centricity Electronic Medical Record Systems (EMR).

“Our mutual clients have experienced increased efficiency and accuracy with a solid interface,” says Jim Kasoff, VP of Operations at Antek. “Recently, the developers at Antek added improved capabilities of LabDAQ that will import orders directly from GE Centricity.”

This import completes the full complement of HL7 interfaces and allows data sharing between the systems to be virtually seamless. LabDAQ’s interface to Centricity provides physicians more effective and timely patient information, and helps maximize clinical, financial, and administrative benefits. A real-time flow of patient demographics, insurance, billing, ordering, and results information is now available to the company’s clients.
