PTFE DIALYZERS

Harvard Apparatus, Holliston, Mass, introduces new reusable PTFE DIALYZERS™ for equilibrium dialysis, regular dialysis, or electro-elution. These new units cover volumes of 25 µL, 50 µL, 100 µL, 250 µL, 500 µL, 1000 µL, and 1,500 µL, and have been redesigned to provide larger membrane surface areas to increase dialysis speed up to five times. The units consist of double-sided chambers sealable with another chamber plus two solid caps or simply with two open caps for use with separate membranes between them. Open main chambers facilitate sample introduction and withdrawal. The entire DIALYZERS can be placed in a temperature-controlled device for even faster dialysis times.

Recyclable and halogen-free thermal transfer tapes

K-Sun Corp, Somerset, Wis, has added two new tapes to the K-Sun LABELShop® line of thermal transfer tapes: white removable and silver matte. The line now features 60 color-and-size combinations, including the new ½-inch Black on White Removable Adhesive (part 212RA) and ¾-inch Black on Silver Matte (part 218SM). The black on silver matte tape is designed for bar code, asset management, and property protection/inventory. Designed for permanent positioning on a wide variety of surface materials, the silver matte is ideal to use with bar code readers and can withstand extreme temperatures, abrasion, and pressure. The tapes are made of a durable, all-weather polyester base with an industrial-grade acrylic adhesive.
