As part of the Optifit Pipette Tip family, Biohit has now launched new single refill packs, ranging from 10 µL to 1,200 µL that are environmentally friendly and cost-saving; DNase-, RNase- and endotoxin-free; certified and presterilized; individually wrapped; and airtight. The solutions are suited for use in laminar hoods or clean rooms. One-Piece Serological Pipettes

The new plastic serological pipettes from Globe Scientific Inc, Paramus, NJ, feature a one-piece construction designed to eliminate the risk of breakage and sample retention. Clear black graduation marks prevent ambiguity and guarantee precise liquid reading and >98% accuracy. Each pipette has a bonded polyolefin fiber plug to prevent pipettor contamination. The pipettes are produced using a patent-pending manufacturing process that provides the best fill and release rates. The serological pipettes are produced from clear polystyrene and are color coded for easy volume identification. Sterile pipettes are RNase-free, DNase-free, nonpyrogenic, nonhaemolytic, and noncytotoxic. The calibration of the pipettes is certified for accuracy.
