The Quant-iT™ assays are more sensitive than UV-absorbance readings, requiring only 1–20 mL of sample per assay. The assays also are highly selective for the target compounds; therefore, assay accuracy is not affected by common contaminants. The dyes provided in the Quant-iT kits match common fluorescence excitation, and emission filter sets make the assays equally useful for high-throughput platforms and routine sample analysis.
