Seradyn Color Slide Rubella is an assay for the detection of rubella antibodies in serum.
This assay can be used to determine semi-quantitative results and active or recent infections. The test is a slide agglutination procedure and uses a blue latex particle for clarity of results. Preliminary and confirmatory steps have been eliminated to provide ease of use, and no dilution is required.
This test also features 10 IU sensitivity at the cut-off, which can assure confidence in results. A two-minute hand-rock allows quick turnaround, and the kit includes assayed controls, ready-to-use reagents with dropper tips, and slides for 100 tests.
