The Binding Site, Birmingham, UK, has introduced new monoclonal antibodies to be used in both research and in vitro diagnostic manufacturing applications involving testing for the hepatitis D virus. The monoclonal antibodies were designed for use as an integral component within a number of enzyme immunoassays. The newly available products include HDV MAb 13, HDV MAb 4.5.7, and HDV MAb 1.1.6.
All of the HDV monoclonal antibodies are sourced from mice and manufactured to a purity level greater than 95%.They demonstrate excellent lot-to-lot consistency, with a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture. They are preservative-free and come packaged in a standard 1.0 mg vial, with larger, bulk configurations available by request.
