This company has introduced an application for the determination of Triglyceride on the Hitachi 717. The reagent is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid. The method is based on the enzymatic determination of glycerol using the enzyme glycerol phosphate oxidase (GPO) after hydrolysis by lipoprotein lipase. The reagent is linear to 1000mg/dL and gave a correlation coefficient of 0.993 and a regression equation of y=0.981x + 1.278. The kit is provided in a 10 x 100mL configuration.
