The multi-year partnership will implement AISight Dx across five laboratory sites to streamline workflows and support advanced diagnostic capabilities.
PathAI has announced multi-year partnerships with a group of Austrian pathology laboratories to deploy its AISight Dx digital pathology image management system across five sites in Vienna, St. Pölten, and Villach.
The collaboration aims to establish infrastructure for AI-enabled diagnostic workflows while supporting the laboratories’ ongoing digital transformation initiatives. The Austrian laboratory group has been among early adopters of digitized operations in German-speaking countries.
AISight Dx integrates whole-slide imaging, case management, workflow orchestration, and AI deployment into a single interface designed for high-volume laboratory environments. The platform is CE-IVDR marked in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
“This is a perfect fit between PathAI and these laboratories. We share a joint vision to improve patient outcomes by bringing pathology to the next technological level,” says Andy Beck, MD, PhD, co-founder and chief executive officer of PathAI, in a release.
Focus on Cross-Site Collaboration and Quality
The multi-year deployment will focus on building AI-driven capabilities designed to reduce manual workflow steps, enable collaboration across laboratory sites, and support consistent diagnostic quality standards.
The participating laboratories include ADK Diagnostik (Vienna), the Pathology Group Practice of Dr Soleiman, Dr Okcu and Dr Tucek (Vienna), PIZ – patho im zentrum (St. Pölten), Patho Pipp (Villach), and Pathology Practice Dr Soleiman (Hall in Tyrol).
