Diatron, Budapest, Hungary, a global provider of hematology and clinical chemistry analyzers, will exhibit its newly available Aquila 3-part differential hematology analyzer (60 samples per hour throughput) at Medica 2017, in Dusseldorf, Germany, November 13–16.

The Aquila analyzer can be used in many testing locations where high-quality complete blood count results are desired. Diatron’s latest technology provides an optimal testing solution for both the experienced and inexperienced user, and for clinical practices that require a high-quality hematology analyzer.

Specifically designed for decentralized laboratory and near-patient testing situations, the small analyzer has low reagent consumption (<12 ml), requires only a small sample size (20 µl), and has a unique, patent-pending onboard reagent pack sufficient for approximately 200 measurement cycles. With its small footprint, the analyzer can be used in many locations, including small laboratories and point-of-care applications. The instrument’s low reagent consumption and onboard reagent pack ensure that the shipping, storage, and use of reagents deliver enhanced ease of use as well as significant cost reductions.

While requiring little bench space, the newly available analyzer features a large touchscreen, an intuitive user interface, an optional back-up battery pack, and extended connectivity options.
