The CN-3000 and CN-6000 automated analyzers deliver high-speed coagulation testing in a compact footprint for mid- to high-volume labs.

Sysmex is now selling its hemostasis portfolio, including the CN-3000 and CN-6000 Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzers, direct to the Americas. While globally recognized in hemostasis, the company is now directly offering these solutions in the United States and Canada to complement its established hematology presence.

The CN-3000 and CN-6000 systems are engineered for mid- to high-volume clinical laboratories, including reference labs and university medical centers, to address the need for increased efficiency within a compact design.

The higher-throughput CN-6000 can process up to 450 prothrombin time (PT) tests per hour, making it the fastest hemostasis analyzer in the Sysmex portfolio. The CN-3000 offers a throughput of 225 PT tests per hour for mid-volume needs. Both analyzers incorporate advanced technologies to ensure result integrity.

Preanalytical Sample Integrity (PSITM) technology automatically checks sample volume and identifies common interfering substances before analysis. This is paired with simultaneous multiwavelength technology that supports a range of testing methodologies—including clot-based, chromogenic, immunoturbidimetric, and platelet aggregation* assays —on a single consolidated platform.

“The CN-3000 and CN-6000 Automated Blood Coagulation Analyzers were designed by the customer and perfected by Sysmex,” says Katy Richards, group manager, hemostasis portfolio at Sysmex. “The CN-6000 provides the highest throughput-to-size ratio on the market, combining advanced technology and intuitive software to drive impressive operational efficiencies.”

The analyzers are designed for standardization, using the same reagents, controls, and software to simplify lab operations and inventory management across platforms.

Key features and benefits:

  • High Throughput: The CN-6000 processes up to 450 PT tests per hour, and the CN-3000 processes up to 225 PT tests per hour, increasing sample processing capacity for busy labs.
  • Compact Design: Both analyzers feature a small footprint to conserve valuable laboratory bench space.
  • Preanalytical Sample Checks: Integrated PSI technology improves confidence in results by automatically verifying sample quality and volume prior to testing.
  • Consolidated Testing: Simultaneous multiwavelength technology enables labs to run clot-based, chromogenic, immunoturbidimetric, and aggregation* tests on one instrument.
  • Operational Efficiency: Features such as continuous loading of samples and reagents, minimal maintenance requirements, and an icon-driven user interface reduce hands-on time and streamline workflow.
