The patented single-compressor refrigeration system maintains top-to-bottom temperature uniformity. This improves cell viability by reducing the risks of biologically relevant, thermally-driven reactions, a feature not available when using liquid nitrogen systems.
The Cryogenic Freezer Model JCX-7150 features a mixed refrigerant autocascade system with single, air-cooled compressor and downfeed evaporator for efficient, CFC-free refrigerant flow. The heavy-gauge steel cabinet, with counter-balanced, key-locked lid is designed with a low profile for easy access to inventory. A minimum of five inches of CFC-free urethane is foamed-in-place and includes a built-in, one-inch access port.
The high-capacity dual-fan condenser has a removable washable condenser filter. Independent double-sealed lid gaskets minimize frost buildup, and the unit has rounded interior corners for easy cleaning and recessed heavy-duty swivel casters for mobility.
