The Autoscreen I & II Antibody Screening Tests simultaneously detect circulating antinuclear, mitochondrial, parietal cell , smooth muscle and reticulin autoantibodies in an indirect immunofluorescent test system. Necessary tissue substrates are contained in each slide well of this system to perform the tests.
Designed for the qualitative and quantitative determination of various autoimmune antibodies, the test is a diagnostic tool in detecting Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), chronic liver disease, CREST syndrome, chronic active hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), pernicious anemia and other related disorders.
These assays feature a greater ease in processing due to an improvement in tissue sectioning and tissue adherence to the hydrophobic, Teflon-coated substrate slide. The 48- or 96-test size kits include substrate slides.
