The Data-Cal Calibrator Set is now available in a larger package size with additional constituents. Package size is a 5 x 5 mL calibrator with a 5 x 5 mL of diluent for greater convenience. Direct bilirubin, lithium and electrolytes have been added; the product includes albumin, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, calcium, chloride, total cholesterol, CO2, creatine, glucose, iron, lithium, magnesium, phosphorus, total protein, triglycerides, urea nitrogen (BUN) and uric acid.
Data-Cal has a 36-month shelf life stability from the date of manufacture and 5 days reconstituted stability. Data-Cal is manufactured from human serum to which various constituents have been added to achieve specific concentrations for single point calibration.
