Bio-Rad Laboratories, a global provider of life science research and clinical diagnostics products, has collaborated with Roche, a multinational healthcare company focused on pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, to provide Roche customers with access to Bio-Rad’s complete suite of InteliQ products. The suite includes a range of barcoded, load-and-go quality controls in a tube configuration that provide efficiencies in workflow and data management.
The Bio-Rad InteliQ suite controls allow labs to automate quality control (QC) workflows, reduce turnaround times, minimize human error, and increase overall productivity. Combined with Unity data management, InteliQ controls are designed to help bring a new level of confidence in the reliability of patient results, according to the company.
For the first time, InteliQ quality controls are available to automate QC on Roche’s cobas 8000 modular analyzer series, cobas pro integrated solutions, and cobas pure integrated solutions. According to the company, this will eliminate manual steps and provide ready-to-load solutions directly onto the Roche cobas platforms. The collaboration also brings users automatic download of value assignment data via Roche cobas link software and independent QC for assessment of Roche cobas analyzers.
