COLA has announced the keynote speakers for the 2024 Laboratory Enrichment Forum: Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH, the 19th director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; and Lee Fleisher, MD, former chief medical officer and director of the CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality.
The COLA Laboratory Enrichment Forum offers a dynamic platform for professionals dedicated to excellence in laboratory services to exchange ideas, according to the organization. Held at the Destin/Fort Walton Beach Convention Center, Florida, May 7-9, 2024, industry leaders will share insights on the latest advancements in laboratory science as well as crucial aspects of CLIA compliance and laboratory accreditation.
Walensky, internationally recognized for her committed leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, will deliver a keynote address highlighting the profound impact of clinical laboratory medicine on healthcare. Fleisher, with extensive experience in national clinical, quality, and safety standards, will explore the pivotal role of laboratories in delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
Following their presentations, participants will have an exclusive opportunity to engage with the keynote speakers in dedicated Q&A sessions.
