The liquid HDL cholesterol verifier kit is used with HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol test systems. The six-level kit contains high- and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol from human serum in a liquid stable format, and has a shelf life of 12 months. Contained within the kit’s serum-like matrix is a critical blend of purified human serum albumin, human serum globulin, and bovine gamma globulin in saline. Optimum linearity is achieved through the kit’s constant protein balance, pH, and ion content. The kit is available in ready-to-use packaging, and contains no surfactants, glycols, or azide.
