The Intect®7 is a new test to detect adulteration, dilution, or substitution in urine samples for drugs of abuse. A strip is dipped into the urine sample and gently blotted. Seven chemical pads with specific colors are compared with a color guide to reveal the presence of such adulterants as bleach, Drano®, and vinegar. No instrumentation is required, and results are ready in 1 minute.
The screening test has an 18-month shelf life at room temperature, and there are 25 test strips to a box.
