Warner Instruments, Hamden, Conn, introduces its new 2GF two-gas mixer for microscope incubators. The apparatus generates CO2-Air mixtures with adjustable CO2 concentration in the range of 0% to 15%. It is compatible with any microscope stage incubator, and it can also be used as a stand-alone device—making it a versatile addition to any research lab. It is accurate to ±0.1%, and it is supplied with a reusable 0.2-mm pore PTFE membrane filtering device.

HS15 Stirring Hot Plate

Heat and stir up to five beakers

Torrey Pines Scientific, San Marcos, Calif, introduces its new five-position Model HS15 stirring hot plate with individual stirring control for each vessel. Featuring a stirring range from 100 to 1,500 rpm, the large 12-inch-square ceramic heater top has a temperature range to 450°C and can heat and stir five 800-mL beakers. It can support more than 50 pounds on the plate surface, and its chassis is designed to keep spills out of the interior of the unit. All controls are mounted well in front of the heater surface to protect against accidental burns.

AccuBlock Digital Dry Baths

Offers precise temperature control

The new AccuBlock digital dry baths, from Labnet, Woodbridge, NJ, feature broad temperature range, up to 150ºC, and both a microprocessor and high-wattage heater for precise temperature control and fast heating. The stainless steel block chamber ensures even heat transfer to the block, and temperature can be easily set using the arrow keys and large digital display.
