Hibistat is a waterless alternative to liquid soap when routing hand washing is not possible or convenient. With its combination of 70 percent isopropyl alcohol and 0.5 percent chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) formula, Hibistat provides rapid bactericidal action when hands are physically clean but in need of degerming. The alcohol + CHG formula provides immediate and persistent activity.
Hibistat is available in four and eight ounce bottles. It is used by dispensing 5 ml into cupped hands and rubbing vigorously until dry. It is designed for repeated use.
