Instrumentation Laboratory (IL), Bedford, Mass, has extended its Novation contract for critical care testing instrumentation for 1 year.
Novation, Irving, Tex, is among the leading health care supply-chain expertise and contracting companies for the members of VHA Inc, UHC, Children’s Hospital Association, and Provista LLC. The contract has been extended through the end of 2013 and includes an option for an additional one-year extension.
Included in the agreement is IL’s portfolio of critical care analyzers, reagents, consumables and service, including the company’s flagship product, the GEM® Premier™ 4000 now with PLUS technology, for blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite analysis with integrated CO-Oximetry testing, as well as the GEM Premier 3500 analyzer.
The contract also includes GEMweb Plus Custom Connectivity software for remote management of GEM Premier analyzers, in addition to the GEM OPL, IL’s portable CO-Oximeter.
