ModernHealthcare.com reports that seven Boston-area hospitals were treating at least 143 patients injured in the explosions that occurred on Monday, April 15, at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
At least three people had died as of Monday night, police said.
The victims’ injuries included broken bones, shrapnel wounds, and ruptured eardrums.
Among the hospitals are Massachusetts General Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
