IntelliDOT Corp, a  provider of wireless, handheld barcode point-of-care (BPOC) solutions to hospitals, today announced that Ms. Margaret Laub, Chief Executive Officer of Policy Studies Inc., Denver, Colo. has joined the IntelliDOT Board of Directors.

"Margaret has a strong healthcare background that included a senior operating role at McKesson and she is currently the CEO of a healthcare IT business process outsourcing company," said Thomas G. Klopack, President and CEO of IntelliDOT Corporation.  "She is an excellent, experienced operational addition to our board." 

In addition to her role as CEO, Margaret Laub is a member of the Board of Directors of Policy Studies Inc. She leads the firm’s efforts in providing US$180 million in private equity-backed consulting and business process outsourcing services to public sector agencies and clients in the health and human services area. Ms. Laub has 29 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Previously, she was CEO-in-Residence of MML Group of Scottsdale, Ariz., which provided consulting services for private equity firms.  Prior to that, she was president and founder of McKesson Healthcare Delivery Systems; she also held the position of president of McKesson Health Solutions. Ms. Laub holds a B.S. in Food Science from North Dakota State University at Fargo, and completed graduate-level studies in accounting at Northern Illinois University at DeKalb.

"The addition of Margaret adds a great industry-specific dimension we will use as we continue to build our business," Klopack said.

Two current board members, Mr. Peter Craddock, Managing Director, Shoreline Venture Management and Mr. Gerry Forth, co-founder of IntelliDOT, are stepping down from the board after providing more than six years of service and guidance.  Both will continue to be involved with IntelliDOT as observers.

"As two of our original board members, Peter and Gerry were very helpful  as they assisted in guiding us from the start-up phase to achieving a number of important development and financing milestones.  We look forward to continuing to draw on their financial and industry experience in their observer roles as the company continues to grow," said Klopack
