MedLink announced that Jack Redding has joined the company as executive vice president of clinical integration.

Redding brings to MedLink more than 20 years of clinical systems, operations and sales experience in the healthcare IT industry, most recently as President of LifePoint informatics, a leading provider of connectivity services to labs and hospitals nationwide.

Ray Vuono, Chief Executive Officer of MedLink, stated, "Jack is a well respected clinical systems and operations executive and proven leader ideally qualified to lead MedLink’s clinical integration growth strategy. Our customers will benefit greatly from his breadth of experience and industry acumen. Effective delivery of health care is at the top of the nation’s healthcare IT agenda which is central to the efficient administration of healthcare today and ultimately ‘meaningful use,’ as evidenced by the significant stimulus investment from the federal government. We are very pleased to have Jack drive our strategy of building a national hub of healthcare information with integrations to HIE’s, hospitals, labs and radiology centers. Redding received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
