The metal and plastic lock boxes feature a convertible strap system that allows the box to be secured either over or under a door.
The heavy-gauge, tempered steel lock box protects specimens from severe weather conditions and rust. A 90Þ stop hinge keeps specimens inside the box when opened. The plastic lock box uses no foam insulation to minimizing cross-contamination of bodily fluids and make clean-up easier. The box bottom is sealed and its door is hinged four inches from the bottom to prevent leakage. A view window allows for checking specimens without opening it.
