The Omnivue illuminated magnifier is a dual-purpose medical magnification task light. It features the option of using two light levels for medical applications. With a touch of a switch, three 9-watt compact fluorescent lamps use 1200 lumens of side-to-side lighting for standard inspection applications or 1800 lumens from the top and both sides of the magnifier.
A fully rotational, extra-large stadium-shaped lens can position the lens so that glare is minimized, and the lens, not the clinician, moves directly to where it is needed to magnify. This lamp also can make it easy to direct the light by using a standard 35-inch reach arm, or the OmnivueMax can be used to provide an extended 43-inch reach. This long reach model, for larger work areas, extends forward and locks into position.
