Mobile carts or stationary cabinets

Anthro Corp, Portland, Ore, offers a new family of charging solutions for mobile devices specifically for health care. They are designed to securely store, charge, and sync mobile devices and pocket computers. The Anthro mobile device family consists of two product lines. Choose between compact mobile carts or stationary cabinets to charge and store tablets and other mobile devices. Charging carts hold and transport 40 devices. The stationary cabinets store 20 iPad® devices and tablets or 40 mini-touch pocket computers and iPod® devices. The Tablet Charging Cart measures 23.75 inches x 24.5 inches. Individually-numbered bays hold 40 iPad devices, including their cases. Cable management clips position the power inlet at the front of each bay for quick connection. Keyed door locks and a two-point locking system keep tablets secure. Each door features mounting points for padlocks for added security. A separate locking IT area is located in the back of the charging carts to protect adapters, cords, and cables. Accessories such as an optional storage drawer and a sync kit are available.

Universal Latch Rack

2 mL and 5 mL Thermo Scientific Nunc Cryobank tubes

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, Waltham, Mass, offers the Universal Latch Rack for use with 2 mL and 5 mL Thermo Scientific Nunc Cryobank tubes, as well as most standard Thermo Scientific Nunc and Nalgene cryogenic tubes. The new rack enables easy and ergonomic tube storage and incorporates a highly flexible lid, which can pivot or be lifted off, making it suitable for handheld pipetting as well as automated dispensing via robotic picking and placing. As a result, users have the ability to switch between manual and automated formats while protecting samples from the surrounding environment. The nonlocking design of the new universal latch rack is automation-friendly. A latch locks the lid in place, providing safe, stackable, and secure storage to maximize freezer space with 48 tubes per rack for internally threaded caps or 24 tubes per rack for externally threaded caps.
