pn09.jpg (13659 bytes)Sterile nylon wool fiber columns simplify the selective separation of T-cell and B-cell lymphocytes. The columns provide researchers with a rapid and reliable protocol for removing B-cells from blood and isolating T-cells with excellent viability for routine phenotyping.
B-cells selectively adhere to nylon wool fiber while T-cells do not. With the simplified protocol, both cell types can be recovered, and the polysciences nylon wool fiber columns provide recoveries as high as 90%. The columns are packaged in ready-to-use 10 cc disposable syringes. Each column is available in sterile packaging with a one-way stopcock for control in washing, incubation, and T-cell elution, and a sterile plunger for eluting adherent B-cells.
