The Center for Phlebotomy Education Inc recently launched Phlebotomy Central, a comprehensive online database of specimen collection information.
The subscription-based Web site includes a database of answers to more than 300 of the most commonly asked questions on the preanalytical phase of clinical testing as well as fifteen lengthy, referenced articles covering a wide variety of specimen collection and processing topics.
The site also provides access to more than 7 years of back issues of the center’s newsletter, Phlebotomy Today. All the content on the site is searchable by keyword wherever subscribers have access to the Internet.
