photoThis company is offering seroconversion panels for viruses HIV-1, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Cytomegalovirus, Rubella and Rubeola, and antigen panels for HIV-1.
A seroconversion panel is a series of samples that shows an individual’s disease progression by depicting levels of IgM and IgG antibodies to a virus over time. The panels are longitudinal series of naturally occurring, undiluted, unspiked, single donor plasma that provide an unbiased assessment of test systems. Like patient specimens, they are not prepared from inactivated cell lines. The HIV-1 antigen panel is derived from donors with various levels of antigen and so depicts a variety of clinical states for early-stage HIV-1 infected individuals.
These panels are intended for research and investigational applications. Clinically significant low levels of sample enable operators to monitor their molecular tests and immunoassays at critical levels, challenging test sensitivity and allowing accurate comparisons of competitor’s assays.
