This thermometer features heavy-duty meter housing sealed with gaskets and o-rings to meet IP-65 standards. The handheld probe has a type K thermocouple sensor for fast response times and a wide temperature range.
The stainless steel shaft is 5 inches long with a 1/8-inch diameter that is reduced and ground to a point for easy insertion and a 10-second response time. Each thermometer is individually factory calibrated with the probe attached for a total system accuracy within ± 1 percent of the reading. The thermometer is powered by a nine-volt battery fitted in a gasket-sealed battery compartment.
