Dolomite Bio, Norwell, Mass, a provider of single-cell technologies, has announced the launch of a scRNA-Seq reagent kit to expand the menu of the company’s Nadia instrument for single-cell research.

Launch of the scRNA-Seq kit expands the Nadia product family and provides customers with a high-quality, straightforward, single-cell profiling solution while still offering them the flexibility to use their own reagents if desired.

The scRNA-Seq kit is designed to enable robust and reliable generation of PCR-amplified cDNA libraries on the Nadia instrument, allowing high-throughput gene expression profiling of heterogenous cell populations. The kit contains all the consumables required to create amplified cDNA libraries, allowing researchers to achieve highly reproducible single-cell data sets¾with ultraefficient gene capture rates¾at low sequencing costs.

Unlike other solutions, the scRNA-Seq setup also gives users the ability to adjust the number of single-cell cDNA libraries prior to sequencing, helping to ensure cost-efficient single-cell analysis.

“This kit enables scientists to perform efficient and cost-effective single-cell RNA analysis on the Nadia instrument and is the first of many exciting developments planned for the near future,” says Heike Fiegler, vice president for biology products at Dolomite Bio.
