Beckman Coulter Life Sciences will be showcasing some unique technologies at its AACC booth, the first time the business unit has attended the annual expo.

In a departure from traditional liquid reagents, Beckman will highlight its dry reagent technology. Such dried-down reagents require no refrigeration for long-term storage and can help expedite sample preparation. The reagents are available as 3- and 4-color kits to enable quantitation of lymphocyte subsets.

Beckman_Navios 400Also on display, the Navios flow cytometry system is intended in the United States for immunophenotyping along with proprietary Navios tetra software and ready-to-use, preoptimized Cyto-Stat tetraChrome reagents. The system was designed to accommodate busy cellular analysis laboratories and aims to provide sensitive detection, data interrogation, high volumes of information per event, and workflow efficiency.
