Cambridge Healthtech Institute will offer a complimentary web symposium sponsored by SomaLogic focusing on two researchers who have successfully incorporated the company’s proteomic assay SOMAscan into their work. Pharmacology and Pathology; SOMAscan Hunting will take place November 14, 11 am to 12 pm Eastern.

SOMAscan has proven useful in target validation by identifying new targets as well as off-target effects. The session is geared toward scientists involved with biomarker discovery, proteomics, translational medicine, pre-clinical trials, cell biology, and pharmacology. Discussion will focus on pre-clinical applications of SOMAscan, the role of biomarkers in drug discovery, target validation, cell biology, and animal models. Richard Lee of Harvard Medical School and John Swindle, president and CEO of CompleGen, will speak.
