The Para-Pak EcoFix Ultra is a one-vial system for the routine collection, preservation and examination of stool specimens for intestinal parasites.
Direct examination, concentration and permanent stain may be performed from the EcoFix-preserved specimen. The non-mercury, non-formalin based fixative minimizes the adverse effects of delay in specimen transport and makes for easier disposal.
The one-vial system for concentration and permanent stain procedures provides excellent recovery of eggs and cysts in the concentration procedure.
