Nova Biomedical has introduced a series of plastic capillary tubes for use with its Stat Profile® Critical Care XPress and pHOx® series blood gas/critical care analyzers for safe blood collection. These heparinized tubes provide the same capillary action as glass tubes without the risk of breakage and are available in three sizes and quantities of 250 tubes per package. Magnets and mixing fleas for the tubes are also available.
