 Harvard Apparatus, manufacturer of laboratory and industrial  high-pressure syringe pumps, has introduced temperature control for syringe pumps from  25° to 65°C. The easy-to-use TC124 temperature controller, in combination with the  syringe warmer, accommodates 10-, 60-, and 140-cc syringes. Other sizes are available as  specials. Temperature control can accomplish a variety of objectives, including lowering  the viscosity of the fluid being pumped, maintaining a biologically friendly temperature  of infused liquids, and increasing the absorption of infused drugs and nutrients.
