Among the many exhibits and vendors at the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Annual Meeting, vendors Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and Beckman Coulter have released new products.

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) launched the VITROS® 4600 Chemistry System, an analyzer that delivers reliable test results for mid- to high-volume laboratories using the same core technologies that drive reliability and efficiency throughout OCD’s portfolio of products. The new analyzer completes the VITROS x600 Family of Systems, which includes the VITROS 5600 Integrated System and the VITROS 3600 Immunodiagnostic System. This portfolio of integrated instruments and a menu of assays enable laboratories to deliver diagnostic results that help raise the standard of patient care in their institutions and networks.

Beckman Coulter Inc previewed its newest high-throughput chemistry analyzers, clinical information solutions, and cutting edge cellular analysis systems at the event. Some of the products showcased include the AU58101 and AU58201 Chemistry Systems; the DxLab Workflow Manager2; the Navios Flow Cytometer3; the Command Central Workstation featuring software version 3.0; the ACL TOP® 300 CTS4 Hemostasis Testing System; and the Allegra X-30 Series General Purpose Centrifuge.
