Remote access and control of the ABL77 is facilitated by Radiance, the STAT analyzer data management system. In addition to live display of the analyzer status on a Radiance workstation, it is now possible to send a message from Radiance for display on the analyzer, and to initiate a number of activities, such as a 2-point calibration and the locking and unlocking of the analyzer. The replacement status of ABL77 consumables can also be viewed from Radiance.
Availability of an additional input parameter for externally measured glucose allows for documentation in the patient record. And Levy-Jennings charts may now be printed directly from the ABL77 printer to facilitate regulatory compliance.
